The Water Management Certificate Program is a unique collaboration between the Agribusiness & Water Council of Arizona, the Morrison School of Agribusiness and the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University. The objective of this program is to train individuals who are or will be employed by public and private institutions tasked with managing water resources.

The Yuma County Water Users' Association provides water to the Yuma Valley, South of the Colorado River to the Mexican Border, and West of the City of Yuma. This water district serves an area of approximately 53,000 irrigable acres.

The Maricopa Water District (MWD) was formally organized in 1925, as a political subdivision and an irrigation and water conservation district under Arizona state statutes and was successfully completed in 1927. MWD is the only privately financed reclamation project of its kind. MWD provides water and power to service an area of approximately 60 square miles.

In January 2023, Farm Credit West and Northwest Farm Credit Services merged to become AgWest Farm Credit. The two associations have a long history of stability and customer success and share a commitment to agriculture and rural America.

Buckeye Water Conservation and Drainage District (BWCDD) was established in 1922 by the farmers of the Buckeye Valley and Buckeye Irrigation Company for the purpose of repairing and maintaining the Buckeye Canal, managing high water levels of the aquifer to allow for adequate leeching of alkali in the soil, and delivering nearly 130,000 AC-FT of irrigation annually to over 17,000 acres.

We have developed a patented non-intrusive process to reverse desertification, rehabilitate degraded soils and reduce water and fertilizer consumption. Our product, which builds on years of R&D, is called Liquid natural Clay (LNC) and is proved and validated by independent third-party organizations to reduce water consumption up to 50% and increase crops yields.

The Arizona-Mexico Commission (AMC) is Arizona’s premier cross-border nonprofit organization. Our mission is to improve the economic prosperity and quality of life for all Arizonans through strong, public/private collaborations in advocacy, trade, networking and information.

In March 1923 the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors tentatively approved creation of the Roosevelt Irrigation District No. 1. The first leaders of this effort—W.J. Burns, G.C. Rubel, and T.J. Roberts— obtained signatures from 115 individuals who owned 20,000 acres and agreed to create the Roosevelt Irrigation District (RID).

Project CENTRL is a twelve-month, competitively selected and tuition-free leadership development program for 16 individuals connected to rural Arizona. Over the course of 9 seminars across Arizona, Washington, DC and Sonora, Mexico we build personal leadership skills, educate on the issues facing rural Arizona and connect leaders and experts.
